This prepackaged system mixes hot and cold water to provide tempered water up to 40 gpm for emergency shower and eyewashes (*Patent No. 5,350,112). It consists of a thermostatic mixing valve, a high temperature limit valve, a bypass valve, and an outlet temperature gauge. Key features include:
-* Highly durable bronze, brass, copper and stainless steel construction for areas where supply water temperature fall below 60 degrees F (15 degrees C)
-* Contains no electrical components, therefore suitable for combustible atmospheres
-* Max. inlet pressure: 125 psi., Max. inlet temperature: 180 degrees F (82 degrees C). Ideal inlet temperature: 140 degrees F (60 degrees C)
-* Pressure requirements: 50 psi supply for water for eye/face wash
-* Inlet and Outlet: 1/2" IPS with dielectric outlet union
